The seminar in Chicago will be an experience I will never forget, both in and out of the classroom. The live seminar was helpful too. I got a 17/20 on the multiple choice and answered all WA questions except for question 7, parts 2 and 3 (worth 6 points! I ran out of time).

I felt confident going into the exam, but I didn't even realize how excellently prepared I was until it was over.I answered 24 confidently, and now that the answers have been released I know I got 24 right, so I'm holding out for that elusive 10! I think what separated my study experience from test takers who didn't use TIA was a unique understanding of the material that was both deep and intuitive.
As I'm sure you're aware a good amount of the questions on this exam were unlike anything in the practice problems/old exams, and I believe that the TIA online & live seminars prepared me to figure out how to solve these problems in a natural and efficient way. While there is no such thing as a guaranteed pass, I believe that the TIA seminar is the best resource available in preparation of an exam - I haven't failed one yet! I've written three exams to date, and have used TIA for all of them. I just passed MLC during the November 2009 sitting.

I feel like i dominated the test today after failing the past two attempts. Your strategy of learning a few key equations and then just understanding how the insurance works (when money comes in vs money comes out) is so much easier than the ASM approach of trying to become a math major. As a finance major your method was a great help and i think it will be much more helpful in the work world than the straight math method. Joe I just wanted to say thank you for creating a thorough curriculum and friendly learning environment. (I'd also like to thank Lee for tirelessly answering so many questions on the forum.) I felt that the TIA learning materials and practice exams prepared me well for the May 2013 sitting. I thought that the practice exams you wrote were a notch or two more difficult that the actual exam, and that having exams that were slightly more difficult but manageable were one of the best learning tools of TIA.
I felt that the sample exams hit the May 2013 exam's pacing right-on; there were harder, lengthier questions in the middle and easier questions at the end. One small suggestion I have for your practice exams is that it might help students to footnote each exam with a number. I went over the practice tests several times, pulling out the most challenging problems and doing them over and over, and ultimately getting all the exams mixed up - so just a footnote might help those students such as myself who forget to number them. Amy I juste want to say THANK YOU because my MLC exam was realy 'easy' and I think you are largely responsible for this success.
My MLC Live Seminar was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone who wants to pass this exam. Dominic HI James, I just wanted to let you know that thanks to your course I passed MLC! I took it with no seminar in May 2013 and got a 2, so even though I don't know my actual score yet it's at least a 4 level improvement.

If you feel that you are weak in a certain section of the syllabus, then watch the segment for that material again. If you want to simulate an intensive review seminar, watch the entire library of lessons for your exam over a four/five day span. However, we do understand the need to study on the go and that internet access is not always accessible.
You have two options: (1) Download the MP3 versions of the lessons and follow along in your notes. (2) Open the TIA site and let the video fully load before you leave, but do not press play.
