I'll try and explain, but usually hopeless and probably won't make any sense at all. We recently had a brand new boiler fitted (Remeha Avanta Plus) It has a manual timer which looks like a dial with the little white prong things all around the outside which you press for whatever time you want the heating to come on - know what I mean?
Anyway, the dial is supposed to turn throughout the day and the heating comes on once the little arrow reaches the pressed down prongs. I'm sure if you've had one of these or have one then you know what I mean. So, since yesterday it has got stuck at about 10.15am. I've tried turning the dial by hand but I'm not sure if you're meant to do that so I didn't put too much pressure on it. The actual clock in the middle of the dial works fine and the heating comes on if I press the prongs down at the 10am mark but I don't want to heating on all day! I did notice that when I tried to change the timer, some of the white prongs were quite stuck down Do I need to call out the plumber who fitted it? Or is there a simple solution?
